Ultimate Pet Christmas Cookies

Who says we are the only ones who get to indulge in festive goodies at Christmas time? Fill your furry friends’ stockings with Christmas cheer this year with these pet-friendly home-baked cookies!

Dog treats

Method

  1. Whizz the flour and oats in a food processor until fine, then tip into a bowl.
  2. Warm the peanut butter and coconut until melted, then mix into the dry ingredients with the beaten egg until you have a dough. 
  3. Heat the oven to 180C. Roll the dough out to the thickness of a coin, using a dusting of flour if it sticks. 
  4. Use a cutter to cut shapes or cut into small squares. Put on a baking-paper-lined tray and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the biscuits are golden. 
  5. Cool completely then store in an airtight jar. Will keep for up to 2 weeks. 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup wholemeal flour 
  • 1 cup porridge oats 
  • 1/3 cup smooth peanut butter  
    (Ensure it does not contain Xylitol) 
  • 2 tbs coconut oil 
  • egg – beaten

Cat Cookies

Method

  1. Dry all the water from your tuna can. 
  2. Place all your ingredients into a bowl and mix. 
  3. Heat the oven to 180C. Roll the dough out to the thickness of a coin, using a dusting of flour if it sticks. 
  4. Use a cutter to cut shapes or cut into small squares. Put on a baking-paper-lined tray and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the biscuits are golden. 
  5. Let the cookies cool down for at least 5 minutes and serve.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup tuna 
  • cup flour 
  • 1 egg – beaten 
  • ½ cup milk

I tried the doggy cookies and it just didnt want to form a dough. I tried exra oil, peanut butter and an egg and it didn’t look ike your video 🙁
